FIRELIGHT CAMPS | ITHACA, NY
Monday October 5, 2015
Now that temperatures are starting to drop, I find myself daydreaming about those last few days of summer. At the end of the season this year, ASK and I went on a much needed trip away from Toronto. As much as we love the city, sometimes a change in pace and environment can be exactly what is needed to get those creative juices flowing again after an energy-zapping summer. Not to mention – fresh air and real greenery can do wonders for one’s spirit. Speaking of spirits, Ithaca has a few new micro distilleries I highly recommend checking out if you’re ever in the area.

A local sampling.
Waking up to the forest.
A dip in the swimming hole at Robert Treman Park.
While we were here, I learned that Ithaca has a great summer theatre scene. I’m looking forward to coming back earlier on in the season next year to fit in some performances as well.
